title: 'Re: We own our thoughts'
text: 'However, once you communicate your thoughts somehow, it is no longer solely yours-it is in my head, so I own it as well. Your theory states not only that you own your -own- thoughts, but mine as well (since my mind will by definition digest, process, and expand upon any information given it). Since thoughts are infinitely reproducible, they are not appropriately compared to finite physical property, which the single owner of can restrict use of as he/she so chooses (within reason). Copyright states that you can restrict my OWN use of my OWN mind simply because it came in contact with something you thought/said/performed.'
