It is illogical to pick and choose from the various tales in the gospels to support desired views of Jesus. If you would like to know more about this field of study, I suggest reading one of the many books on the historical life of Jesus. The Historical Jesus by E.P. Sanders is a favorite of mine.

How is it explained differently?
It is written by several different authors, and yes very small details are different, but the overall theme and meaning of the books explain the same story. He was born through a virgin mother, he grew up, he performed miracles, he claimed he dead for our sins. People claim he rose after 3 days. Show me one book in the bible that says any different.
