Order is not the same thing as purpose. The universe is to some degree ordered, it is true. However, the Second law of thermodynamics shows that in fact the universe becomes steadily and irreversibly more chaotic and disordered all the time.

This is commensurate with a universe which is a random anomaly, a seemingly-ordered pattern sprung from chaos, and is then fading back into the chaos from which it sprung. No "intelligent design", let alone the existence of an "intelligent designer", is either evidenced or required by these things.
