title: 'Better?'
text: 'What is to be understood by better? Better at what? They both have their strengths and their weaknesses. Windows excels at user friendliness, and ease of use, while Linux, the simple task of installing can become a 2 day process. One must ask, what is the point of using a computer? What is its intent? 1) Informational purposes. 2) Entertainment Windows has “out of the box” network capabilities making it easy to access the internet, just as effectively a Linux computer could, without all the hassle. Entertainment? From the standpoint of rich-media (Eg, video games/movies/etc) windows certainly excels. To what this can be attributed it debatable, but nonetheless 90% of media and gaming are intended to be ran on a windows machine. I agree with the statement “Windows is better, for the standard user, using a computer for standard reasons”'
