"God would have anything God wanted" presumes that God could want something. That something could look like the universe. You cannot conclude from this that God wants nothing, nor that a God without motivation could not 'create' anything, whether or not it was 'desired' by God.

ascribing motivations to anything that can be named God is probably unwise in the first place, and extensive arguments on such premises which invoke infinities carry almost no weight.
